Six Ways Of Not Giving A Damn:

There are billions of people on earth and as you read this article there will be an addition of few more millions. And of course not everybody’s intellect will be in synchrony with yours! The more number of brains:the different the ideas, thoughts, mentality, understanding and intellect. You are gonna meet people whose sugar coated words turn into bitter venom when you are not looking! Or the person you care for with all your heart may take you for granted.
Similarly not all days in your life are going to be perfect as depicted in your favorite fairy tale. One day you may wake with bad headache or get stuck in a jam when you have a very important meeting with your client, have a terrible 1:1 with your manager, get into a fight with your best friend or worse run out on coffee !!
Life is clumsy, crazy, imperfect and flawed! Not all days are going to be in your favor and not everyone you come across are going to like you (unless you dead or giving away your hard earned billion dollars for charity).
When life is not all flowery and wonderful, do not turn blue- these tips will help you encounter unfortunate circumstances and toxic people.

1) NEVER BLAME YOURSELF:

A toxic person is always going to be a toxic person, no matter what you do or no matter how hard you try – it won’t help. So bid farewell to your favorite toxic person and welcome new wonderful people in!

2) SELF AFFIRMATION:

Always keep telling yourself that just like good days, bad days are temporary as well! And whatever pain you are going through right now shall pass. Be patient.

3) COUNT YOUR BLESSINGS:

Why so negative? If one thing is messed up, there are zillions of good things in your life. For instance the luxury of reading this article (the technology) the water you drink, the air you breathe, the shelter, the ability to hear, see, speak and comprehend! Start counting your blessings. Make gratitude because it’s the right attitude.

4) STOP DISCUSSING IT WITH PEOPLE:

You are pissed, you share your unpleasant experience with person A, then you meet person B,C,D& E and talk about what’s bothering you. Please stop! You trust people around you? That’s great ( a blessing, count it )! But you also need to understand that the more you talk about it, the more you think about it and the more you think about it, the more it bothers you. Overthinking turns an infinitesimal issue into a gigantic critical issue. So shut your thoughts and your mouth. Embrace it gracefully.

5) SWEAT IT OUT:

Streamline your anger and negative emotions into something wonderful. Go out for a jog, hit the gym, go swimming or meditate! This will help you release of endorphins which will reduce your stress and anxiety. Your body will bless you.

6) DO WHAT YOU LOVE; IF YOU CANT LOVE WHAT YOU DO:

Last, but not the least park your troubles aside and do things you enjoy ! If you arent in the most favorable employment situation, do things that you love after work. Pamper yourself, buy yourself a little present from you, go out for a movie, binge watch your favorite series on Netflix, treat yourself with your favourite delicacy, paint, talk to your friend, cook your favorite meal or just sleep on it.

Life is still beautiful with all the flaws. You need bad days to cherish good days, you need terrible people to appreciate good people, you need sickness to enjoy health and all these scars contribute in making you the best version of yourself. Remember, magic happens outside comfort zone, hence brace yourself to experience this adventures roller coaster journey called “life”.
